Recipe for making pour-over coffee
Water, an essential part in pour-over coffee is going to be investigated with different variables (e.g. water temperature, pH value...) so as to explore that how will it affect the flavour of coffee. In this project, the experimental results will be connected to the science behind the coffee making process.
Here is the recipe for making coffee.
1. The apparatus and ingredients needed: ground coffee, funnel, filter paper, distilled water, thermometer, beakers and hot plate.
2. Boil the water
3. Assemble the filter paper and the funnel
4. Pre-wet the filter paper with small amount for ice cold distilled water
5. Put a constant amount of ground coffee on top of the filter paper
